Natural Ametrine is one of the most imitated crystals in the wholesale market. Synthetic Ametrine (lab-grown in Russia and China) and heat-treated Amethyst are regularly passed off as genuine natural Ametrine. True natural Ametrine forms only in Bolivia's Anahi mine - its characteristic purple-to-gold zoning is a product of natural temperature variation during crystal growth, not a lab process. All Ametrine supplied by Anshul Impex is genuine natural stone, accurately labelled and correctly represented. Your buyers get authentic crystal - and your business reputation stays protected.

Ametrine is a naturally occurring quartz variety that contains both Amethyst (purple) and Citrine (golden yellow) in a single crystal, with a visible colour boundary between the two zones. It forms when iron impurities in the quartz are partially oxidised during crystal growth - a condition that occurs naturally only in Bolivia's Anahi mine. This single-source origin makes genuine natural Ametrine relatively rare compared to other quartz varieties, which supports its premium retail positioning.
Natural Ametrine has an angular, clearly defined boundary between the purple and yellow zones - not a gradual fade. Synthetic Ametrine (lab-grown) often shows a more uniform, almost too-perfect gradient. Heat-treated Amethyst passed off as Ametrine will typically show an unnatural colour distribution. All Ametrine from Anshul Impex is genuine natural material - we can provide detailed stock images and sample lots before full orders are placed.

Ametrine sells on story and visual impact - two things that drive crystal retail. It's the only crystal that naturally combines Amethyst and Citrine, which gives your sales team a ready-made narrative: two of the most popular crystals in the world, fused by nature into one. The purple-to-gold colour gradient is visually
