Natural Hematite vs Magnetic Hematite What You Need to Know
There are two very different products sold under the Hematite name, and it's important to know the difference. Natural Hematite is a real mineral iron oxide mined from the ground. It is not magnetic (or only very weakly so), has a slightly rough or granular texture when unpolished, and shows a red-brown streak if you scratch it on a rough surface. Magnetic Hematite is a man-made product that is manufactured from iron powder and resin, pressed into shape, and has strong magnetic properties. It looks very similar to polished natural Hematite but is not a natural stone. Both have their place in retail, but they must be labelled and sold correctly. We clearly label all our stock and never mix the two. What you order is exactly what you receive and what you can confidently sell to your customers.

It depends on the product. Tumbled stones and raw rough start from 1kg. Bracelets are available from one dozen. Pendants, palm stones, worry stones, spheres, and points can be ordered by the piece with flexible minimums for regular buyers. Magnetic Hematite products also have per-dozen minimums.
